TME - Transmetatarsal (TM) Energy Storing Foot
The TME is similar to the FDS but it is not dynamically alignable and is more flexible to accommodate transmetarsal ablation. Clinically suited because the remaining part of the anatomical foot and prosthesis self-aligns within the shoe. TME keels are available in soft, medium and firm. As a general rule, the flexibility of the keel increases as the remaining length of the metatarsals increase.
The TME is custom fabricated and is a non-returnable product.
