Ordering specification and pricing
Provide the client’s shoe and the following specifications when ordering:
Client foot size in centimeters, weight in lbs., right or left, the existing or anticipated K level, whichever is higher, and the OAL from the end of the definitive socket to the shoe board, to include the shoe. The ideal heel height of the shoe is 5% of the foot OAL. Within this range of specifications, Trylon systems can be ordered in soft, medium, and firm options. K3 is defined as independent and unassisted ambulation/ADL. High K2 is independent and assisted ambulation/ADL. Low K2 is limited independent and assisted ambulation/ADL and unassisted transfers.

Shoe board IPA vertical transfer jig
The shoe board IPA (integral pylon alignment) vertical jig is an inexpensive transfer alternative for clinics that do not have a vertical transfer jig. (Fig. 5). Hosmer/Dorrence jigs work well when a footboard is bolted to the inverted foot plate. IPA jigs are compatible with Hosmer/Dorrence ½ inch pipe collets.
